Not the kind of freedom our soldiers fight for, but the kind that we are responsible for ourselves. We live in a free country, but so many of us are still imprisoned shackled. So many of us have sentenced ourselves to a life sentence in the prison of our own minds by our lack of faith. The story of Paul and Silas tells us about two men, strong in their faith - and the challenges they faced while sharing the Gospel. Their example teaches us a very important lesson - life is probably not going to be fair to us but as children of God and as believers, we must still be obedient to His word and to our faith. By being obedient, God will break those chains that have kept up constrained for so long - freeing us AND the people around us. This after all, is the ultimate mission: bring His children to His feet and show the world who He is..
